Our Therapists

Who We Are

Each of us is passionate about providing an exceptional therapeutic experience for our clients. We believe that deep healing and transformation is possible when courage, compassion, and collaboration are present in the room. Our therapists are enthusiastic learners. We seek training on current developments in the field and bring exciting interventions back to the couch. We are honored to work with each client and humbled to share a stretch of your road with you.

Who Do I Help?

I help women, from young adulthood through retirement age who are struggling, but also hearing a call to return to themselves.

Many women I see are experiencing changes in their lives and things are not how they thought it would be.

Maybe life after high school or college isn’t what you expected and you are having a hard time “adulting.”

Maybe your relationship isn’t going well.

Maybe a relationship ended and you are struggling to heal and move on.

Maybe you really want to get this motherhood thing right and it’s even harder than you imagined.

Maybe trying to balance career, parenthood, and partnership is pulling you under.

Through it all, maybe food is your best friend and worst foe.

It seems like everything you know to do isn’t working.

How Do I Help?

Our work empowers you from the inside out.

We will not simply talk about your feelings.

We will work with your feelings using practices that transform your experience of yourself.

You will know that you are not crazy and you are not alone.

You will recognize your own strengths and wholeness.

You will acquire effective deep self-care skills and healthy perspectives.

We work together learning, gaining skills, and using deep healing experiences that bring you back to yourself.

You are not alone.

As a queer-identified person, I understand the fear, self-doubt, and lack of belonging that so many of us experience.

As an individual and a therapist, I believe wholeheartedly that we can do so much more than survive. We can thrive as students, professionals, friends, partners, parents, and families.

If you are here, maybe you are overwhelmed sometimes with feelings of shame, worry, and hopelessness.

Maybe you feel angry and heartbroken because your family does not understand and is unwilling to accept you as you are.

Maybe you’ve been bullied and discriminated against at school, at work, or in your community.

Maybe you have recently come out, but things don’t feel as great as you thought they would.

You may have had negative experiences with therapy in the past, and even said, “I hate therapists.”

While there are many people who share these experiences, the isolation and fear can make it feel like there is no one who understands.

I am here to help.

We will work together to help you feel better and improve your relationship with yourself and with others.

A solid sense of self-worth is critical to weathering the storms of relationships. Our work will help you become grounded in who you are.

My style is caring, direct, and highly empathetic.

My focus is on creating a space where you feel free to speak openly, exploring ways to navigate feelings, experiences, and relationships without sacrificing your true self.

We will build skills and practices to help you feel empowered, get “un-stuck,” and get moving forward again.

I am also a sex-positive clinician and aware and affirming of sexual diversity, including poly/kink/altsex communities, and other identities.

I am especially passionate about supporting people who may have disappointing or painful experiences with therapy in the past.

If this is you, let’s chat!

You are welcome here exactly as you are!

Too often, life experiences get in the way and leave us feeling stuck, alone, and overwhelmed.

You may feel like you are “not good enough.”

You may feel like you don’t fit in.

You may feel disconnected from yourself and important people in your life.

You may be worried about “bad habits” that affect your day-to-day life.

I believe that we instinctively know what we want and need.

I’d love to help you get “unstuck” and get back to living a life that excites you.

My style is non-directive and eclectic.

I invite you to explore your inner world with mindfulness, yoga principles and body awareness.

While I have the credentials to help, I also have the life experience:

I returned to graduate school after several of my own life changes.

Motherhood, moving, returning to school and job changes…it can be too much!

My approach is to give you a place to feel empathy, support, and acceptance.

Our work together can help you re-connect with your true self and get back the the path you dream about.
